Dr. Rakesh Parikh is one of the region’s most experienced Gastroenterologists. He brings to the community over 10 years of rich and diverse background in internal medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Parikh completed his residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan, and his Gastroenterology Fellowship at Wayne State University. He has expertise in the full spectrum of gastrointestinal illnesses and performs the most up-to-date diagnostic and therapeutic gastrointestinal procedures. His special interest lies in disease of the biliary tract and is the only physician in Seymour that can perform Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatogram (ERCP). He is also trained in Endoscopic Ultrasound.
